Today I am going to walk you through using my Merry Christmas Greeting Card SVG Design in DXF format. The free basic version of Silhouette Studio only accepts DXF and PNG files. DXF files show up only as lines and I’m going to show you how to turn those lines into the cut file.
I will also be doing the card assembly. This SVG file comes with an envelope as well. I don’t show the envelope file but, I do show how to construct it once it is cut out. I’m using basic cardstock colors, but the beauty of using cut files is that you can cut it on any cardstock you’d like to use. Dress this design up using patterned papers! Add a print and cut element to your smaller sentiment panel or stamp a greeting. Feel free to add more embellishments to this card to really make it your own. As with all my cutting files, this card can be used for personal or commercial use. The stipulations on licensing are laid out in the listing information and are also provided in PDF form when downloading the files.
