When is the last time you were caught in a bind for a birthday card? I’m not great about keeping track of dates, so I’m constantly making cards last minute. If you’re anything like me, you’re going to love this quick and easy Happy Birthday Card SVG. What I like about this card is its simplicity.
The Birthday card is easy to cut and put together. In fact, I was able to do it in under 30 minutes start to finish. Well after I spent another 20 minutes trying to figure out a good color combination. That is an entire beast of its own.
Supplies:
Once all the pieces are cut out, add the larger rectangle to the back of the front of the card. Then place the smaller rectangle of the same color centered on the inside of the card.
Add the smallest rectangle on top of that on the inside. This layer is for your personal message. When I make cards in bulk, I like to keep the insides blank and stamp a message when I know who will be receiving the card.
For the front of the card, I like to add extra dimension, so I cut out the word “Birthday” 3 times and layered it together. There is enough room to place it slanted or straight.
That’s it! The card is complete! It will measure 4.25×5.5 inches when folded and will fit nicely in an A2 envelope.
