The Christmas countdown is on! I hope you took advantage of some great deals over the long weekend. Now that your shopping is underway, it’s time to start wrapping. What better way to top off the perfect present than with a beautifully cut DIY Christmas gift tag?
Make sure your printer has some ink, as we dive into this print and cut project. I’m going to walk you through all the steps of making these tags on colored cardstock. With that being said, there a few extra steps since we don’t need to print the color of the tag itself, but no worries, I’ve got you covered.
Having issues with the registration marks reading? Check that your firmware is updated, which can cause some problems keeping your project aligned. Next up, check that your cutter is starting in the correct position. You can always do a manual registration mark read if needed. I go over that a bit in this video on making address labels.
If these are not working, you can take your chances with just cutting, but it might not come out exactly. The nice thing about these tags is that if they are a little off, it won’t be terribly noticeable.
