Halloween is over, which means it is officially the holiday season! Let’s start it off with some crafting fun. Today I have an adorably cute pilgrim hat card that is perfect for Thanksgiving. Send some love to friends and family, or give it as a host(ess) gift, either way, you can’t go wrong. Let’s dive into the pilgrim hat card assembly.
Supplies:
- Brown Cardstock
- Green Cardstock
- Yellow Cardstock
- Silver Cardstock
- Creme Cardstock
- Liquid Glue
- Foam Squares
It took a bit of time to cut all the pieces out of different colored cardstock, but it is totally worth it. Total time including cutting and assembly is roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour.
If using a Silhouette cutting machine, I highly recommend using the overcut button when cutting this card out. I’ve tried it both ways and with the intricacies of the word and the sunflower, the overcut makes it a lot easier to peel the pieces apart.
This file comes with a coordinating envelope (not shown) and the completed card is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. All parts of this project are 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock friendly.
I added some Wink of Stella to the sunflower and also spritzed it over the card to add a little more pizazz. Feel free to add extra embellishments to truly make this card your own. Don’t forget your handwritten sentiment on the inside for that personal touch!
